[ Warring seraph ]

Usage: cast 'warring seraph' target
Usage: cast 'warring seraph' (when already in battle, this ability will automatically target your opponent if no target is supplied)

Usage: invoke 'warring seraph' target
Usage: invoke 'warring seraph' (when already in battle, this ability will automatically target your opponent if no target is supplied)

Warring seraph is an oe grei aura prevention ability. Grei abilities fall within the sphere of the mystical grei aura. Abilities of the naj'k and grei aura have been rumored to be influenced by mystical factors outside of the abilities themselves.

Warring seraph attempts to bring out the fury of the seraph and harness that power from within the priestess herself. This ability is short lived, but very powerful. The duration of the warring seraph is based on the user's wisdom, the prevention time of the warring seraph is based on the user's constitution. The actual power of the warring seraph is based on the user's damage bonuses.

[ Way of the Bear ]

The might of the bear can allow the caster to gain powers far beyond their own natural abilities. This spell can affect the caster in many ways, but these affects are never truly mastered until the caster has fully mastered the path of intellect and wisdom. The benefits of the bear from within grant the caster massive powers, which are only known by the caster him/herself. It has been known that the bear within can grant a fury that few can survive.

[ Way of the Panther ]

The understanding of the panther is a great power indeed. As the caster of this spell becomes more wise and intelligent, the spell grows more and more in power. The benefits of becoming cat-like are many, but shall only be revealed to the caster him/herself, as only they are keen to understanding what this spell can truly grant. Although it is a short-lived spell, the benefits are so incredibly beneficial, few have lived to tell what they have seen on the other end of battle with a "panthered" Ranger...

[ Weave of balance ]

Usage: weave of balance

When a path is chosen as to which road will be traveled, that of the fighter or that of the magic user, only one thing is predetermined: the focus is either on physical strength and heartiness, or mental prowess and spirit. It is the true warrior who can find even ground, and bring these things to harmony and balance. When learned, the weave of balance can bring the weakest mage the strength of a giant, and can give the mind of an elf to those who lack it. Drawing on pure will, the weave of balance attempts to bring the weakest traits of the user to the level of the most powerful. In addition, the weave has known to raise even the highest trait if the user is balanced prior to using the spell.

An old wives tale has been said about the weave of balance, it follows:

"The balance of the weave can better control the minds of the weaver."

It's unclear exactly what this riddle meant, although guesses have been made suggesting that the weave of balance improves the weavers ability to control the minds of others. But when would someone perform such a feat?

[ Wicked fidelity ]

Usage: cast 'wicked fidelity'

The wicked power of belief. This spell, which is only castable, can be used to prevent creatures from successfully stunning the target. Wicked Fidelity is only castable on yourself and has been known to grow in power as the intellect and wisdom of the caster increases. Wicked fidelity is a simple spell of sorts, using the wickedness of the caster to form a barrier of belief which will attempt to ignore any attempts of stun on the target. It attempts to derange the target's body in such a form that will elude anyone attempting to pinpoint the nervous system of the target. This has the effect of misguiding the opponents stun attempt and leaving the target in perfect condition. Although this spell is not 100% fool proof, a master of intellect and wisdom will rarely be affected by stuns from even the most studied in anatomy.

[ Willed Protector ]

Usage: cast 'willed protector'
Usage: invoke 'willed protector'

A true protector. Willed protector, which can be either cast or invoked, attempts to summon a Gargoyle for protection. This Gargoyle's power level is directly related to the intellect and wisdom of the caster, or the willpower of the invoker. The Gargoyle summoned will grow in power as the caster/invoker improves in their magical/mental understanding. The Gargoyle's ability to don equipment is in direct relation to the caster/invoker's level. As the being summoning the protector increases in experience, so will the protector summoned. These protectors can only be summoned singularly, thus you may only have one protector at any given time. But if you've obtained mental and magical understanding, one is all you will need.

[ Wind Wall ]

The arcane studies of the elements has lead some to be able control weather in many ways. One of these ways is through the use of the spell wind wall. Wind wall attempts to control the air around the caster or invoker and then use that air to protect them from harm. As odd as it may sound, high speed winds with floating debris carried within the winds can be very deadly. Most creatures who have fought through a wind wall are usually mildly damaged by the affects of the surrounding winds, however, the caster/invoker is never harmed as they can control the winds as they strike out of their barrier and keep debris from hitting them. Although this spell doesn't do incredible amounts of damage, it can be easily mastered and can be easily used as an extremely useful tool for returning damage sent in, as the damage returned from the wind wall is a percentage of the damage of the attack entering the wall. As the saying goes, "The bigger the man, the greater the fall."

[ Winged arc-bolt ]

Usage: cast 'winged arc-bolt' target
Usage: cast 'winged arc-bolt' (when already in battle, this ability will automatically target your opponent if no target is supplied)

Usage: invoke 'winged arc-bolt' target
Usage: invoke 'winged arc-bolt' (when already in battle, this ability will automatically target your opponent if no target is supplied)

Winged arc-bolt is a basic mystical pattern. Once used, other basic mystical patterns cannot be used until the prevention created by this ability falls.

The winged arc-bolt is a magical bolt of energy fired from the very being of the user. Purely magical in damage, the accuracy of the spell is based on the level and speed of the user. The damage of the arc-bolt is base on the quickness and speed of the user. Yet, quickness plays a much more important role in the damage of the spell than speed does.

Unlike other basic prevention forms, winged arc-bolt's only drawback is its increased recovery time (which is controlled by the user's constitution). Winged arc-bolt is by no means basic in terms of the damage it is capable of doing.

[ Wings of the dragon ]

Usage: invoke 'wings of the dragon'

Through great spiritual concentration it has been rumored that certain beings can alter their shape and apparently grow wings, similar to those of the dragons. This spell is rarely found, but often twice as powerful as normal flight, as the caster finds herself with not only the ability to fly, but also the powers that come with having wings attached to one's body. Although the spiritual drain is great, so are the benefits.

[ Witches Broom ]

The pet of the witch. Witches broom summons the broom of the witches to help the witch in two different ways. First, the broom will give the witch flight which greatly reduces endurance drains while traveling far across the Nodekian lands. However, the main benefit of the witches' broom is its level of protection. The witches broom will attempt to lash back at any attacker that desires to hurt its enchantress. The witches broom is a protector in itself, and will attempt to defend the witch who has summoned it until either the effect of the spell has worn out or the witch has been killed. Although the broom does not inflict incredibly harsh damage, it is more effective than many shields, regardless of intellect and wisdom or willpower. Be warned for witches with a strong mind and a broom in hand, as rumors of their terror has been spread across the land.

[ Witching frostband ]

Usage: cast 'witching frostband' target
Usage: cast 'witching frostband' (when used in battle, if no target is supplied, automatically targets opponent)

Usage: invoke 'witching frostband' target
Usage: invoke 'witching frostband' (when used in battle, if no target is supplied, automatically targets opponent)

Witching frostband is an advanced ice generation spell. The regeneration time before using another advanced ice generation ability is based on the user's constitution.

The witching frostband falls into two categories: the frostband and the witching.

The frost aspect of this spell is the firing of an iceband or frostband at an opponent. The frostband does ice damage which is determined by the speed and willpower of the user. The frostband cannot be parried.

The witching aspect of this spell is a mystery, but it does exist. In fact, many argue the witching aspect of the spell far exceeds the frostband aspect.

[ Wounded abatement ]

Usage: cast 'wounded abatement' target
Usage: invoke 'wounded abatement' target

The power of healing. This spell, both castable and invokable will aid the target by magically curing some of their wounds. Wounded abatement will also aid the caster/invoker by giving them additional experience for their benign nature. The power of this spell is directly reflected by the intellect and wisdom if the spell is cast, or willpower if the spell is invoked.

When successfully used, this ability will also slightly improve the user's alignment.
