[ Temporal gate of bending ]

Usage: cast 'temporal gate of bending'
Usage: invoke 'temporal gate of bending'

Gates are entry-points for greater warlocks. They allow transmutations to take place which are beyond even the power of the warlock, but within the power of the gate itself. The gate is opened by the warlock's spell and envelopes the warlock immediately. The gate is the power, the warlock is merely the key. That understood, a warlock that has recently been enveloped by a gate of temporal bending is a creature to keep an eye on. What is known about this gateway is simply that the warlock is granted some alteration, a rifting of time and space that alters the movement of the warlock. Even the warlocks that travel through this gate do not fully understand its inner workings.

What is understood is that the speed and intellect of the warlock greatly affect the rifted power of this gate and the warlock's physical constitution plays a vital role in the amount of time a warlock can maintain this power. When in the hands of the clever, there is no end to this gate's ability.

This gate gives meaning to the method behind the warlock.

[ The hermetic shield ]

Usage: invoke 'the hermetic shield' target

The hermetic shield is an oe grei aura prevention ability. Grei abilities fall within the sphere of the mystical grei aura. Abilities of the naj'k and grei aura have been rumored to be influenced by mystical factors outside of the abilities themselves.

The hermetic shield is a shield of great power. The shield itself can protect whomever it is invoked upon from all kinds of damage. Perhaps what makes this spell so powerful, is not the shield itself, but the ability the invoker has to choose whom the shield will protect. Thus, this spell is only available to those who define what defense means - rulers of the guard.

The effectiveness of the spell is determined by the user's willpower. The prevention duration incurred by the spell is controlled by the user's constitution.

[ Three points of complexity ]

Usage: invoke 'three points of complexity'

Marauders are evil beings. So evil, that sometimes even their own powers astound themselves. Three points of complexity is a power given to the marauder class by one of the dark gods. It grants the marauder a tool for a short period of time. The spell is shrouded in mystery ...

The effectiveness of the spell is based largely on the user's speed, but also secondarily on the user's constitution. After invoked the marauder must wait some period before creating another complexity.

[ Transient Alteration ]

Usage: cast 'transient alteration' target
Usage: invoke 'transient alteration' target

Simply the power to rip time apart and walk through to a different location without a single second passing. This spell will allow the caster or invoker to walk through a portal in time and come out at the same moment in time at a different location. Because transient alteration is so immensely powerful, only the caster or invoker can pull themselves through the portal in time. Transient alteration has been known to be one of the major keys of war in Nodeka, as unsuspecting sorcerers will their way through time to locations they aren't quite welcome.

[ Trewan of the rising forest ]

Usage: cast 'trewan of the rising forest' direction
Usage: invoke 'trewan of the rising forest' direction

Druids have always been known for their intimate understanding and relationship with the forest. Through songs they have been known to summon the trees to aid them. And now, with trewan of the rising forest, the druids look again to the trees for aid. This time, however, the aid comes not in the form of battle assistance, but in obstruction.

Trewan of the rising forest calls forth an immense amount of power in the druid which is used to temporarily raise up a forest in the path, blocking entrance to and from a direction.

The duration of the obstruction is based on the user's constitution. The recovery time before using another trewan is based on the user's wisdom.
