[ Barrier behest ]

Usage: invoke 'barrier behest' target
Usage: invoke 'barrier behest' (when used in battle, if no target is supplied, automatically targets opponent)

Barrier behest is the calling forth of momentary protection. The paladin using this power need not have perfect alignment (as is the case with most other behests). It is because this power draws out neither a restoration of blood nor causes blood. Barrier behest prevents blood, and therefore all paladin may use it, no matter what their alignment. Yet, barrier behest still pulls on the paladin's alignment ever so slightly.

The power of the barrier is based on the paladin's willpower and the paladin's strength. The duration of the barrier and the recovery time are based on the paladin's constitution.

[ Battle Awareness ]

Usage: invoke 'battle awareness'

Thanks to the combat nature of his path in life, the barbarian has a natural sense of the flow of battle. Over time, experienced members of the class have been able to focus this affinity for combat into an outward sense of the world. This sense will allow the man-of-war to tell when the blood of battle is flowing around him. When the power of battle awareness is invoked, the user will be able to immediately sense any battles currently underway in the area around him. The awareness is fleeting at best, and quite taxing on the spiritual energies of a man-of-war -- as one might guess, they are not exactly masters of the art of invoking.

[ Bestow vision ]
Usage: cast 'bestow vision' target
Usage: invoke 'bestow vision' target

An incredibly useful spell indeed, bestow vision allows the invoker (invoke only) to give sight of the invisible to the target. Bestow vision although incapable of reaching 100% accuracy, can be invoked on targets other than the invoker, this in itself makes it extremely useful. The success rate of the spell is based off of the skill percent, the power level of the spell is based off of the will (willpower) of the invoker.

[ Black magic of prolonging ]
Usage: cast 'black magic of prolonging' item name
Usage: invoke 'black magic of prolonging' item name

Black magic of prolonging is an oe grei aura prevention ability. Grei abilities fall within the sphere of the mystical grei aura. Abilities of the naj'k and grei aura have been rumored to be influenced by mystical factors outside of the abilities themselves.

Black magic of prolonging attempts to use the black arts to reverse death and infuse an object with a magical internal fortification. This fortification prolongs the lifetime of the object, thus increase the amount of time before the object decays.

The extension of object lifetime is based on the user's wisdom. The prevention time incurred by this ability is controlled by the user's constitution.

Only objects which naturally decay can be targeted by this spell. The most obvious type of object, therefore, is the corpse. However, there do exist other objects that can be infused by the black arts of prolonging ...

[ Blackfrost cloudburst ]
Usage: cast 'blackfrost cloudburst'
Usage: invoke 'blackfrost cloudburst'

Blackfrost cloudburst is an advanced storm generation spell. The regeneration time before using another advanced storm is based on a combination of the user's constitution and wisdom.

Blackfrost cloudburst brings forth a storm of frost, painting its targets with frost damage. The damage itself is based mostly on wisdom, and only somewhat on intellect. Blackfrost cloudburst spans a spherical range, so use it with great caution.

Whispers tell us there is more to blackfrost cloudburst than what is seen on the surface. Or perhaps, that is the secret ...

[ Bless ]

Usage: cast 'bless' target
Usage: invoke 'bless' target

For those who spend their lives in the service of the gods of light, bless will be perhaps the single most used spell in their arsenal. Once the blessing has been called forth (either by invoking or casting), the recipient will notice its affects. The target of the blessing will notice an increase in many of her combat related statistics, as the benign gods of light look her after. There will also be an increase in the ability to strike, as the gods themselves guide the weapon. The power of the blessing grows as the caster becomes more wise and learned, or as the invoker becomes more strongly willed.

[ Blended image ]
Usage: cast 'blended image' (self-only)
Usage: invoke 'blended image' (self-only)

For those who master their environment, it has been known that they have been able to transform their image into something less visible. Although this spell does not remove one from being seen in plain sight, it does allow, with mastery, hidden movement across the world. Although only those with incredibly powerful mind (either int + wis, or wil alone) have been known to grasp the full power of the blended image, this spell has been known to be one of the Druids' favorite, as they can pass in and out of locations without so much as a whisper. This spell may be both cast and invoked.

[ Bolted lightning ]
Usage: cast 'bolted lightning' target
Usage: invoke 'bolted lightning' target

Bolted lightning is a basic storm generation ability. When used, other basic storm generation abilities cannot be used until the prevention created by this ability falls.

The damage done by bolted lightning is, of course, lightning based. However, the accuracy of bolted lightning is based on the user's strength. This is due to the physical strength required to stream these bolts of lightning through the body into a target. The damage done by bolted lightning, is based entirely on the user's wisdom.

One advantage bolted lightning has over other forms of attack is that it cannot be parried.

Bolted lightning has a very short prevention period. Basic storm generations can be used again after the spell's prevention has worn off.

[ Broken vorpal-dimension ]
Usage: cast 'broken vorpal-dimension'
Usage: invoke 'broken vorpal-dimension'

Broken vorpal-dimension is an advanced mystical pattern spell. The regeneration time before using another advanced mystical pattern ability is based on a combination of the user's constitution and willpower.

When fighter types hear the name 'broken vorpal-dimension' they often fall quiet in wonderment of how a 'dimension' can be extremely sharp, or vorpal. This of course, is well known to the wizard, as are many other secrets of the vorpal-dimensions.

Broken vorpal-dimension attempts to snap away a part of a vorpal dimension and bring that dimensional rift into this one. The range of the broken dimension, while seemingly large, is actually quite limited. If it were not, nearly all life would cease to exist when the wizard brought forth the vorpal plane, including the wizard himself or herself.

Use caution when using broken vorpal-dimension as its range is and can damage multiple targets across a wide aerial range.

The damage done by the broke dimension is based off of the combination of the user's willpower, intellect and wisdom. However, willpower plays a far greater role in the damage than anything else.

There is a mystery to the broken vorpal dimension, one which has puzzled the wizards for eons. What is this secret?
