Note that nim may only be used on NPCs (non-player characters) and cannot be used to steal gold from players. As this is the most basic form of stealing, it has limitations in the scope of its use. Don't be fooled into believing it isn't useful, as nim can often be used against creatures which would normally slaughter others trying to take its loot. When using nim your dexterity and speed will be pitted against your target's agility and intellect. The greater your level, dexterity and speed, the greater your ability will be to snag bigger and better loot. Nim also benefits the thief by compensating them with experience for successful skill nims. Nim has some limitations, but can be immensely powerful when in the right hands. |
