With great wisdom, a raider can rapidly improve their combat skills for a brief period of time. The brief period of time the gambit stays active depends on the raider's constitution. Once used, this skill prevents other gambits from being used for a short period of time. Due to this, the gambit of the warring shield is used often by raiders. [ Glancing pierce ] Usage: glancing pierce target Usage: glancing pierce (while already engaged in battle, will automatically target opponent if target is not specified) Glancing pierce is a basic skill of the adroit combat group. Adroit combat skills focus on well thought out, dexterous attacks. As such, adroit combat skills primarily focus on the user's dexterity to determine both ability to hit and ability to damage. Glancing pierce is an attack to a non-vital location on the opponent. As it takes little effort to strike such non-critical areas, these attacks can be made swiftly, with no time penalty to the user. A unique aspect to glancing pierce is that its recovery time is nearly nonexistent. This makes glancing pierce a highly used skill. [ Grete Sja ] Syntax: automatic Grete sja, also known as the great sight, will increase the distance of the hunt magnificently. However, before any affect whatsoever is seen, it must be fully mastered. When mastered, grete sja, will always succeed and double the range of the normal hunt. Grete sja will naturally increase through the use of hunt, but the time needed to master will be great indeed. |
