[ Fervent war cry ]
Usage: fervent war cry target
Usage: fervent war cry (when in battle - will only target opponent)
Fervent war cry is the skill of calling upon one's own ability to intimidate
an opponent, to keep him or her locked in battle. Not only does this ability
prevent the opponent from fleeing battle, it also keeps the barbarian himself
locked in the fight.
An interesting aspect of fervent war cry is its innate ability to be used under
any circumstances, including while the barbarian is berserk and insane. Due to
this, fervent war cry is a powerful barbarian killing tool.
The effectiveness of the fervent war cry is based on the barbarian's strength.
The duration of the war cry and the recovery time before using another war cry
is based on the barbarian's almighty constitution.
[ Field aid ]
Usage: field aid target bandage item
Field aid is the art of mending wounds, as they need to be mended. Field aid,
although somewhat limiting, is a valuable tool of healing. It cannot be used
on any target that isn't decently hurt, and requires a bandage to patch up
those nasty wounds. Bandages can be purchased at various shops throughout the
realm, but be wary: the less expensive the bandage, the cheaper its support.
Field aid's mending ability is dependant on the users constitution (ability
to stay focused on the task at hand) and their intellect (knowing where to put
the bandage and how to place it on most effectively). Although rumors are heard
of purchasing bandages which can offer much more mending services than the
average bandage, not many of these are actually seen. This ability can only be
used outside of combat, when the user can focus their attention on the task at
hand.
[ Flowering spirit ]
Usage: flowering spirit target
Usage: flowering spirit (when already in battle - targets opponent)
Ninjas who have excelled along the path of balance are also learned in control
of the spirit. Flowering spirit allows a ninja to reach deep within oneself for
a burst of energy in an attempt to unleash a massive onslaught on a single
chosen enemy. Not only is flowering spirit powerful, it can be used quite
often.
[ Focused Sphere ]
Usage: focused sphere target
Usage: focused sphere (when used in battle, targets opponent)
A sphere of energy. This sphere is initially used to allow the user to improve
their accuracy and damage. The other advantage of a sphere of focus is to
prevent the enemy from parrying or dodging an attack. The duration of a
focused sphere is dependent upon the user's constitution and level. The
success of the sphere is based upon the user's constitution and skill percent
versus the target's constitution and level.
[ Fury ]
Fury will attempt to convert a large amount of your endurance energy into a
wild rage, where you will attempt to destroy everything within your general
vicinity. Although this skill can be incredibly dangerous, if mastered
properly and used sparingly, it can be an incredible tool against large
groups of weak enemies. Understanding how fury works is very important to
the full mastery of this skill, neophytes using fury without caution will
most likely end up on the wrong side of the sword.
[ Frenzy ]
Usage: frenzy target (to initiate battle)
Usage: frenzy (when used in battle, no target name is needed)
Yet another way barbarians show everyone else how pissed off they can get.
Frenzy is a particularly interesting skill. It has the ability to allow the
barbarian to do extra damage in battle while at the same time improving their
accuracy! It has been said that the reasoning behind frenzy's increased
accuracy is rooted in the fact that the barbarian takes such an offensive
stance they don't waste time worrying about being hurt and therefore become
more accurate.
There's still a serious amount of confusion about just what this ability does,
although rumors have been heard that its true power lies beyond that of turning
the barbarian into a massive raging lunatic. The barbarians themselves have
been too mad to give a more detailed explanation of what this ability does...
The more experienced the barbarian the longer frenzy lasts in battle. The
greater the willpower of the barbarian the greater the benefits of frenzy.
